method of strata control as they act directly to the
forces and deformations that occur in the immediate
area.
Rockbolts and anchors have predetermined
characteristics such as load carrying capacity, shear
resistance, axial resistance, etc.
Drilling is carried out both on the
surface and underground using rotary and/or rotary-percussive
hand held, air track, boom-mounted drills. Down the
hole hammer units are also available and can be mounted
on EWP boom lifts or crane mounted man baskets.
