Specialist Site Services were contracted to strengthen a large existing drystone retaining wall on the South Coast of New South Wales. Works were undertaken under single lane closure allowing traffic flow to continue on this important road.
The scope of works included:
- Development and implementation of WHS, Quality and Environmental Management Plans
- Provision of Traffic Control
- Vegetation removal and clearing of site
- Drilling and installation of weepholes
- Spraying of fibrecrete layer
- Drilling and installation of soil nails
- Drilling and installation of sub horizontal drains
- Spraying of shotcrete layer
- Soil nail grout testing and concrete testing
